The Practix OK-450 is a custom-built, heavy-duty two station shuttle press designed for specialized large-format work – heat pressing, fusing of piece goods, and thermoprinting.
The OK-450 has been built in many different sizes over the years, with standard configurations ranging from 48″ x 68″ all the way up to 60″ x 120″. It handles jobs most presses simply can’t: rugs, oversized piece goods, aluminum panels, shower walls, and any application where high fusing pressure across a big surface is essential for product quality. Build options include top heat only or top and bottom heat, plus platen gap spacing from 1¾″ to 5″ to accommodate thicker materials and specific production requirements.
