Practix Manufacturing LLC, a U.S.-based manufacturer of advanced composite processing equipment, announces the availability of the OK-04DBHD, a 42″ x 48″ Automatic Double-Belt Press System engineered for the semi-continuous lamination and consolidation of high-temperature thermoplastic composites. The system is designed to meet the rigorous demands of both
industrial production and advanced research and development environments.

About the OK-04DBHD System
The OK-04DBHD is a semi-continuous indexing press that integrates a high-temperature hot stage and a controlled cold stage,
enabling precise, repeatable processing of advanced thermoplastic composite materials. The system transports material between indexed steps, eliminating the mechanical stresses associated with drive or belt-pull systems that could distort sensitive fiber architectures.
Engineered to process materials at processing temperatures up to 740°F, the system is capable of hot stage operation up to
1,000°F with multiple-zone PID temperature control. The cold stage is independently operable up to 1,000°F, providing controlled cooling under pressure to maintain final laminate dimensions and structural integrity.
