OK-10 not heating up

First verify the machine is getting 240VAC.

Is the circuit breaker tripped or damaged?  Reset the circuit breaker. Sometimes the circuit breaker will break contact on one channel due to thermal load.  Reset the circuit breaker by turning it to the off position and then back on.  Check the digital voltage/amperage meters to see if the machine is pulling amperage.  For a 240VAC 1 phase machine, the amperage should be approx. 50 amps.

If still is not pulling amperage, check that the contactor is activated.  When the temperature controller outputs a signal to the temperature controller, (indicator OUT on analog machines or red dot indication above temperature on machine with HMI), the contactor should activate.  The square block in the center of the contactor should be pulled in.  If it is pulled in, check the amperage draw on the machine. If amperage is good the machine should be heating.

If no amperage, measure the voltage out from the contactor.  You should read 240 VAC into the power wires on the contactor and 240 VAC on the wires going out to the drum. If not voltage or low voltage is measured on the output side, then the contactor is bad. If 240VAC is measured on the input and the out sides of the contactor, then the problem is typically a burned wire inside the drum.
